A Gopher server contains many types of information - on-line phone books, library catalogs, texts files, E-Mail directories, Usenet News, FTP files, and others.Like the Gopher servers themselves, the files within the servers are also organized hierarchically. They are divided into a series of menus and sub menus that the user can browse through.
